I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing! He was a kind and talented person who had a successful acting career. I remember us talking in high school and realizing we had been born on the same day in San Francisco, but in different hospitals. Rest in Peace, dear Jeff, you were one of a kind .
I'll miss his avante guard and cynicalJeffery and I have been sharing music and political dissents for the past three years. My last text to him was Jan 14th. Because we didn't always reply right away I didn't realize he had not replied to me. After seeing this announcement I checked back. No reply.
I have fond memories of our Battle of the Bands at TL. Ken Luba played drums in his band. He was the lead singer and tambourine player.
He worked at Winbledon's with me in Sausalito during the disco era in the 70's. He was our bouncer!!
Jeffery was an amazingly brilliant man with tremendous talent. He pursued an acting career that brought him to LA. Being a tall fellow with rugged features, he was cast as "bad guys" in several productions. He left the career for health reasons.
His sister Patti and I, with a bunch of other hippies would eat lunch together on the little lawn in front of the administration building just to antagonize Rattray! She later became Janis Joplin's inseparable buddy, Patticakes! She resides in Novato.
I'll miss our stimulating and often cynically humorous philisophical conversations about life and the world...
