Tom was a very special person in my heart and he had a true zest for life. Though it has been many years since we have spoken, my loss. I will always remember his kindness, sincere hugs, the twinkle in his eyes and his laughter. He was there for me many times when I needed a friend, especially when we lived next door to one another. Tom will not be forgotten nor will he be loved more then by those who knew him. He touched many hearts, truly a good, kind and loving man.
Kahlil Gibran puts words together like no one else, " Death is a wedding feast for the Angels; receiving the spirt embracing the soul into death."
Tom's body may have failed him but is spirit will remain in our hearts. Until we meet again, my dear friend, rest in peace.
I have been very saddened by the news of one of the best guys I ever met. From Terra Linda High to Moose''s Meats during my motorcycle days and beyond. Many years have passed since we sat at the same table at the third class reunion. We had such a great night together and my world went south after a massive car wreck so we lost touch. I can only offer prayers to all that were his friends but most of all to his family. To you Tom I say thank you for the person you were and that you find comfort in looking at what an impression you left on earth with so many people. I have lost so many friends and family in my 61 years that have been asked by me per my prayers to make you feel comfort with those that are in Gods hands now. Believe it or not I look to the future when I get to have the promise of eternal life with all that have preceded me into the next stage of life.
