.Elaine passed away on September 5, 1996 in Brookdale, California in Santa Cruz County. She was a San Jose State University graduate and an avid gardner and expert horticulturalist. Elaine worked for many nurseries throughout Santa Cruz and Santa Clara counties. She left behind her husband, John E. Pollock Jr. Rest in peace, Elaine.

Elaine was one of my best pals in high school. I remember spending a lot of time at her home and what great parents she had. After college we lost touch. Does anyone know what happened to her and did she leave behind a family? She had a younger brother. I will miss her...she was very sweet.Gretchen Park (Gibbs)
Elaine and I transferred to SJSU from COM and were roommates for awhile. We were very close for a number of years in fact I was her Maid of Honor at her wedding to her husband, John. I had married my husband a few years earlier so we were all very close for many years. She and John bought their home in the same neighborhood I lived in until my husband & I moved to a town close by. She was extremely talented in writing and horticulture and combined the two for awhile. She and John never had children. She passed away at the age of 47. I miss her terribly.
