Jackie passed away in North Carolina on August 2, 2017. I met her in 2nd grade at Santa Venetia School when I moved to Northbridge. We were in Miss Bostwick's class along with Jean Burns, Dan Machado, Janice Moore, Rick Larson, Judy Garneiri, Lynn Bridges, Barbara Tietz, Lynn Carnaghan and Paul Lewis. Along with Paula Murphy, Jeff Bacich, Glen Wehrer, Holly Harton, John Giromini, Bill Saleme, Dan Sturm, Betsey Noga, Stephanie Borruso, John Colett, Cheryl Brown, Terry Hoff, Dee Williams, Monty Martin, Joe Scmiedeberg,Jim Guthrie, Janet Parker, Chris Arnsbargar and Jim Walker, Jackie and I went to school with each other from grammar school to graduation from high school. Miss Bostwick (2), Miss Egan (3,4), Ms. Wormuth (5), Ms. Austin (5), Mr. MacPhail (6). I remember Jackie taking me swimming in the model home pool next door to her house and her father saving me from the deep end because I couldn't quite make across the length of the pool. Bluebirds, Campfire Girls, birthday parties and most 2nd-6th grade activities, Jackie was there and always really nice to me and lots of fun. We may have travelled in different circles of friends throughout junior high school at Santa Venetia Junior High and TLHS but our childhoods belong to being in the same class with the same kids, 2-6 grades, and the memories of growing up together in Northbridge.
