HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL YOU "MOTHERS"  I LOST MY MOTHER 17 YEARS AGO A COUPLE OF DAYS BEFORE MOTHERS DAY.  IT'S ALWAYS BEEN A TOUGH DAY, BUT ALSO BRINGS BACK BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES OF A BEAUTIFUL LADY I WAS FORTUNEATE ENOUGH TO HAVE IN MY LIFE.  SHE INSTILLED ALL THAT'S GOOD ABOUT ME TODAY.  SO MOTHERS, ENJOY YOUR DAY.  FATHERS AND CHILDREN, GIVE THEM THE LOVE THEY DESERVE.

I am so excited!  Not just to see everyone at the reunion but to pull together a benefit concert for the TLHS music department! This will be the first TLHS Alumni Musicians Jam.  Come and see what your old high school muscian friend turned out to be.  George's Nightclub is generously hosting the event on September 28th, from 1pm to 9:30pm.  George's Nightclub is on Fourth Street in San Rafael.  All the proceeds will go to TL.  George's is really a beautiful venue since their remodel.  Check them out on Face Book.  Bring your friends, the more the merrier!! You won't want to miss this event!  Stay tuned for a list of players.  See ya there!

The Reunion Committe met yesterday and we decided that I would create a postcard that i can bring down to the event on Saturday promting our reunion and inviting people to come.

I am so looking forward to this reunion!! I had such a wonderful time at the 40 + 1 reunion. My only regret was that I didn't get to say hello to each and everyone present.  This time I plan to walk around more and say hello to everyone.  I am arriving on Friday afternoon and am looking forward to the informal get-together on Friday night as well as the big party on Saturday night.  Can't wait to see you all!  See you soon!

There will be a celebration of life for Tom McCart on Friday, October 4 at St. Luke's Presbyterian Church from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. The church is at 10 Bayview Dr  San Rafael, CA 9490. If you are in the area and wish to remember Tom, please join several of us who will be there to say goodbye to our treasured friend.

Just wanted to express my great appreciation to Jann and Peter for giving me the  opportunity to surprise some old friends.  Had a great vist with Blair, Carey, Melinda, Nancy and Maryellen at Jann's Lake Oswego home.  Hoping it's not another 30 years before we see each other again.
